I fully concur. I too need my ego massaged with comments. I guess it's more about insecurity and your confidence with writing. I know it's not one of my strengths and often struggle to convey my thoughts and opinions. Comments confirm that not only have people given their valuable time to read your post but has understood your warbling enough to share their thoughts too.
